I think the best part of Locke is the ending. At first it left me empty and unsatisfied. But the beauty of the ending shows us that this is just like real life. A man can really lose everything in his life in just an hour and a half. It didn’t end with some grand resolution, or an overtly grizzly ending, it just went on. Just like in life, there’s no happy ending most of the time; just carrying on. We didn’t get to see the ending, because it was didn’t finish. Ivan Locke will have to go through the rest of his life, just like anyone we encounter in our life.
The fact it took me so long to realize the beauty of the ending, shows just how real it really is.
