I'll start, LIFE could be a prequel to Venom. The end of LIFE is similar to start of Venom where the spacecraft crashes. The alien also acts like a parasite and moves in the same way.
Bonus random link is the antagonist owns a company called the LIFE corporation.
The movie styles are different but I feel there's parallels.
