Thoughts on 47 Ronin?

I just finished this movie and I thought it was really good... then I saw online that people really hate it.

While it didn't really represent Japanese culture very well, I feel like most of the people who are getting offended at that aspect of the movie are white people and honestly as someone of East-Asian descent I don't think it was that big of a deal.

It's been seven years since it was released. How do y'all feel about it now?
